Take this test!

You're a bold, confident orange. A warm, powerful color that indicates a strong, welcoming personality, orange is the mark of people who are social and extroverted by nature. Vibrant, with an upbeat attitude, you have a bright, inviting demeanor. Energetic and fun-loving, you're a real friend-magnet. Your easy charm and unassuming manner make you the sort of person people want to meet and get to know better. Well-rounded and fun to be around, you enjoy helping others, so it's no surprise that orange also symbolizes attraction. Orange is an extraordinary color — for an extraordinary person.

Country Concert

8:47 AM Saturday, January 26, 2008

Lately, I've been much enamored with country music. My mom called me the other day and said that my dad was going to lose all respect for me! I though politics had that effect on people, not music! I'm sure she was kidding... right Dad?!?
Anyway, I'm not a big fan of twangy, old school country, but the new more pop oriented tunes. For my birthday, we went to see Brad Paisley in my company suite at Energy Solutions Arena.
Great concert and loads of fun!

Happy 30th Birthday Johnny!

11:02 AM Thursday, January 24, 2008

Today is Johns 30th birthday! He is finally as old as me :) We had a birthday party for John last night with our family. John and I are going to Brad Paisley tonight for the BIG day. The girls and I decorated the kitchen and made dinner. When John got home Emily turned out the lights and we had "surprise" party for him. We got him a new ski jacket - you can see what a model he is. I just don't know why he doesn't do this for a profession. We then enjoyed a home made donut cake. I love you my sweet husband!

Emily came home from school and dumped her backpack on the floor ( I know your shocked) and left a sucker on the couch. Mr. William being a curious little baby, found it and enjoyed it!

One of my latest projects

This frame is in my hallway and I just finished putting vinyl on it. I am going to start making these if anyone is interested. They are so cute!!

Emily has been begging me to buy her fake nails and of course my answer is always NO!!! Well she suckered my dad into buying them for her. She looked really cute and she felt really cute.

This past week I took my kids to the Discovery Gateway for Kids. They had WAY too much fun. Charlotte loved to put the plastic balls in tubes and watch where they were going. She then moved on to the water display. I don't think she left the water all afternoon; she was soaked! Emily and her friend Kylie played in the water and played in the Super Market. Will enjoyed some time in the water and behind the wheel and he did take some kids for a ride.

For Christmas our kids were given sweaters knitted by their Nana. They are so cute on them! I am tempted to learn how to knit so I can make myself one. Thanks Nana!

He is such a big boy!

Will is sporting his big boy tie. Isn't he the cutest thing since sliced ham?

John and I took the kids to South Towne Mall to visit Santa. I thought for sure Charlotte would cry and want nothing to do with him. She, as usual, would not stop talking and Will wanted his beard so bad he was drooling. The girls were able to tell him everything they wanted and walk away with a hat and a candy cane.

Charlotte and I have been taking a mommy and me dance class since September. We had our dance class debut in December in front of the state of Utah (it felt like). Charlotte wanted to go back on the stage and dance again. She did awesome and so did all of the other little girls and 1 boy. I think the mommies even remembered the dance too!

Rockin' New Years Eve!

5:16 PM Monday, January 14, 2008

For New Years Eve we invited some of our friends over to rock. Our friend Josh brought his Rock Band XBox game and Nate brought his Guitar Hero over so we could play some games to ring in the new year. Although, we did kick everyone out at 10mp so we could get some rest. I know we are so old! The kids had so much fun rocking out and singing the rock music. The guys I think had the most fun. They got so in to it they wouldn't even smile. So much consentration! Happy New Year everyone!!

This Christmas was so much fun! John's parents came out to spend the holidays with us once again. Emily spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with her dad, so we had to wait to open presents until 1pm. When we woke up we had the YUMMIEST breakfast. We ate our new addition to our freezer - Pig! John and Sally brought us out a pig and a partial cow. Can we say Delicious!! We kept the lights off in the front room where Santa delivered all of the presents so Miss Charlotte wouldn't know what was in there. Well around 11am she discovered her Christmas gift from Santa - The Rose Petal Cottage. She loved it and she loved washing her jammies. Her babies felt right at home. So needless so say, we started to open our Christmas. We were spoiled by John's parents. We are so grateful for all we got and we were so grateful to help others this Christmas holiday.

This year for Thanksgiving our family with my parents went to the Homestead in Midway. It was delicious and very quiet. My siblings had dinner with their other families this year. We were grateful to even get turkey!

An update is coming!!
