Happy Birthday Mr. William

9:00 PM Saturday, March 28, 2009

William was such a good baby and he has kept that up so far. He is talking so much more these days and has so much personality. He loves to play his "gigar" (guitar) from the Wii and he has recently learned how to play the air guitar - video coming. He loves his trains, guns, dirt, sisters, playing dress-up and babies, jumping on the tramp, eating sugar and cookies, telling his mom-mom and da-da that he loves them and asking for gum and money. He learns so fast and is alot brighter than I give him credit for. He has been a great addition to our family and look forward to what comes out of his little mouth next.

5 years of bliss

5:27 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2009

5 years ago John, Emily and I became a family and we haven't been happier. Our Anniversary was actually March 20th and I know I am a little late posting, but at least I did it. I really couldn't ask for a better partner in crime or a better father to our kids. Happy Anniversary babe and hears to MANY more!

Vinyl Girl

2:35 PM Monday, March 23, 2009

From now on I will be posting my crafters group on my Vinyl Girl blog. The address is http://www.vinylgirl.net/ . I will still send out the email, but check the blog for the project. I will also be updating my blog with new projects I am working on and monthly discounts. Thanks for your support!

This video was taken when she first started her class. She is doing so much better and she absolutely LOVES it! I'm glad we found something she really enjoys.

I know we haven't blogged in a while and I am so sorry about that. I know all of my 10 readers have been anxiously awaiting my next post. We haven't been too busy to blog, just too lazy. We did go to Lowe's and get an indoor planting experiment to see if we could start our garden with seeds. It is sitting in our closet germinating and I can't wait to sneak a peek tomorrow. I will keep you all updated as to the progress of our veggies. We planted carrots, 2 different kinds of tomatos, cherry tomatos, cucumber, peas, and a variety of flowers. John and Charlotte planted the seeds and I kept a log as to what is where. It is so fun to see the girls get so excited about the garden.

March Crafters Group

9:21 AM Tuesday, March 03, 2009

Hello Ladies!
This is the next craft for Crafters Group. This is a wood block that is 7x7x7 that I painted and Mod Podged paper on and then I used vinyl decals. There is vinyl on 5 sides of the block and I left the bottom blank. If you would like to customize the block with a different season or holiday, click here for options. The cost is $12 and that includes the block and the vinyl. I will only be cutting the vinyl in black so pick your colors accordingly. I ask that you bring your own paper, paint and Mod Podge. If you would like to use embellishments bring those as well. I will have Mod Podge and brushes here and a cutter for the paper. The date will be March 16th at 11am here at my house. I need to know by next Tuesday if you are wanting to do this craft. As always if you can't make it let me know and I can have your supplies for you or I can do it for you. This is really cute and a fun decoration for your kitchen table or for a side table.
Leave me a comment to let me know if you are in!
