Charlotte's first tooth broke the gum line on Wednesday (while dad was traveling no less!). There isn't really anything to take a picture of just yet. But, when that first little snaggle gets higher, we'll get one on here.

Our cabinets are done in a "shakeresque" style with a medium stain. We've separated the kitchen from the dining room purely with color (black to natural/stainless) to give the room a little more dimension. My dad and I painted the light fixture while he was here and we actually moved the light about two feet to where you see it now. We've been looking for a buffet of sorts that will sit under the window that is just out of the picture on the left hand side. It will hold all of Jill's china.

Grandma made this for Emily for Christmas. It is such a wonderfully done quilt and this picture does not do it justice. The quilting on the bedspread itself is one of a kind and done with the utmost care, its truly unbelievable.

Emily Jayne
12:46 AM Wednesday, January 11, 2006 Emily is looking forward to the time when more people move into our new neighborhood so that she'll have some friends to play with. For now, she's getting closer to her parents and her sister. She had a great Christmas and she's doing well in Kindergarten. She's also enjoying being in dance class and being a big sister.

Charlotte turned 6 months old on December 13th and she's getting so big so fast. Jill and I really want her to be little again. These are various pictures of her over the last 6 weeks. She loves to eat things (especially paper), she sits up and she is rocking on her hands and knees. We'll have a crawling baby soon. Isn't she a doll?!?
